Congratulations to Luke Amsbaugh of Bottineau Rugby who has finished the regular season play at the top of the ND state Scoring Leader rankings with 59 points consisting of 35 Goals & 24 Assists.  Last year Luke finished the entire hockey season, including tournament play, with 85 points, just behind ND Mr. Hockey Harrison Aide, who had a whopping 92 points.  This year teammate Noah Grant, has finished the regular season play in the #3 spot with 44 Points, consisting of 25 Goals & 19 Assists. 

Bottineau Rugby has finished in the top rankings for the past 5 years as follows: 

2014-2015     #1 Luke Amsbaugh 65 points, #2 Noah Grant 51 Points

#3 Forward Karsen Ceglowski

 

Karsen Ceglowski

Bottineau Rugby Forward #3 Karsen Ceglowski sustained back injuries, (a fractured/compressed vertebrae & non-displaced fracture of his pelvis), in a game on January 23rd against Hazen Beulah.  Ceglowski was hit from behind into the board’s midway of the 2nd period.  He was released from the hospital with a fitted back brace & a pair of crutches as the healing process begins. Karsen has made it to the final games of the season to support his teammates. Ceglowski will be present during the WDA tournament to cheer the Bottineau Rugby Braves on.  Good Luck with your recovery Karsen.
